We do animal rescue, though it has slowed since other homes are now built around us out here in the country, with other kind souls taking in these beautiful, abandoned animals. We now have seven cats and three dogs who will live here with us permanently for the rest of their lives. And we've gotten portraits like these done of all but two, our newest foundlings.
This video is of a portrait of Frankie LeBleu, our grand, 20 pound Lynx Point Siamese, with gorgeous sky blue eyes. We chose this regal accoutrement for him because he is, overall, dramatically regal in appearance. We likewise chose this atmospheric background that showed the blue sky, which matches his eyes.
We're very pleased with this piece and, indeed, with all of your portraits. As one can discern here, even Blue seems quite taken with it.

My dog Ruby and I are lucky to have a couple who co-parent Ruby with me. They have a goofball English Setter, Lincoln. I had a portrait done with him as royalty, which was so opposite of his nature. "Sir Lincoln" was a big hit with his parents. they kept saying it was the funniest thing they had ever seen. It now hangs in a place of honor in their living room.
